Mr. Robert T. Ivy, age 85, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at his residence.

He was a member of Mayfield First United Methodist Church, a former president of I.A.M. Union and a retired employee of B. F. Goodrich Chemical.

Mr. Ivy is survived by his wife, of 65 years, Janie Smith Ivy; one son, Marty Thomas (Debbie) Ivy of Mayfield, KY; two granddaughters, Ashley (Kyle) Kendall and Audrey (Lane) Foster; and five great grandchildren, Kyson Kendall, Karter Kendall, Neely Kate Youngblood, Ivy Jo Youngblood and Ella Grae Youngblood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymon W. and Eula B. Dublin Ivy.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert T. Ivy will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Rev. Mark Stephens will officiate.  Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Kendall, Lane Foster, Ricky Allcock, Randy Smith, Rudy Carver, Kyson Kendall and Karter Kendall.  Honorary pallbearers will be Rustin Carver, Roy Dublin and Ray Edwards.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the funeral home.
