Obituary

Mr. Ronnie J. Doughty, age 76, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his residence.
He was of the Baptist faith, a retired employee of Continental General Tire and a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Doughty is survived by one son, Steven (Jennifer) Doughty of Mayfield, KY; two daughters, Rhonda Doughty (Neil) Mathis of Mayfield, KY and Leslie Doughty Rucker of Myrtle Beach, SC; a special friend, Debbie McAdoo of Mayfield, KY;  three brothers, Charlie (Barbara) Doughty of Possum Trot, KY, Johnny (Diane) Doughty of Calvert City, KY and Willard (Kathy) Doughty, Jr. of Calvert City, KY; one sister, Shirley (Don) Kilby of Calvert City, KY; seven grandchildren, Ronni Duke, Kloie Doughty, Megan Grimes, Trae King, Bailey King, Griffin King and Ben Doughty; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Doughty; his parents, Willard and Catherine Dodge Doughty and one son-in-law, Hugh Rucker.
Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie J. Doughty will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Interment will follow at Dee Cemetery in Calvert City. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #236. John Doughty, Bailey King, Ben Doughty, Tray King, Brandon Doughty, and Jason Doughty will serve as pallbearers. Robbie Doughty, Henry Doughty, and Griffin King will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
