Mr. Seth "Tommy" Boaz, III. of Mayfield, KY passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at his residence surrounded by family after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Tommy was happiest when he was spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. He was a partner at His House Ministries and had recently retired from a long career at Major League Fishing. He will be remembered for his integrity, his selfless commitment to helping others, his love of running and his dry sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Davis Boaz; two daughters, Jen Boaz Davis and Brittany Boaz (Hank) Titzer both of Henderson, KY; one step-daughter, Kate Robertson of Aurora, KY; two step-sons, Matthew (Amanda) Robertson and Benjamin Robertson both of Aurora, KY; one sister, Mary (John Perry) Boaz of Louisville, KY; nine grandchildren also survive.

Tommy was preceded in death by one brother, David Boaz as well as his parents Seth and Martha Pruitt Boaz.

A funeral service for Seth "Tommy" Boaz, III. is set for 11:00 AM Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Stephen Boyken will officiate. Interment will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield, KY. Hank Titzer, John Perry, Joey Davis, Greg Davis, Sam Andrus and Dan Boaz will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Byrn Funeral Home.
