Mr. Teddy Ray Clapp, age 73, of Sedalia passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his residence.

He was a member of Rozzell Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a former agriculture teacher at Symsonia High School and Sedalia High School and a retired employee of Nutrien Ag Solutions.

Mr. Clapp is survived by his wife of 51 years, Paula McPherson Clapp; one brother, David (Shari) Clapp of Mayfield, KY; one brother-in-law, David (Cindy) McPherson of LaFayette, TN; one niece, Sabrina (Trevor Thom) Clapp of Paducah, KY; one nephew, Seth (Linsey) McPherson of Paducah, KY; and one great niece, Clare McPherson of Paducah, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Frieda Black Clapp.

Funeral services for Mr. Teddy Ray Clapp will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.  Al Colley, Pete Galloway and Billy Kinsey will officiate.  Interment will follow at Cuba Church of Christ Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Pete Galloway, Billy Kinsey, Danny Ford, Seth McPherson, Kent Parm and Mike Black.  David McPherson, Mickey Grooms and Larry Clapp will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
