Mrs. Wanda Gay, age 97, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the home of her son.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a member of the Red Hat Society and a homemaker.

Mrs. Gay is survived by her son, Chad Gay of Benton, KY; one grandson, Colt Gay; one granddaughter, Jessica (Eric) Hobbs; and one great grandson, Tanner Hobbs.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, James H. Gay; two sons, Mike J. Gay and Mark R. Gay; an infant brother, Hayden Roberts; and her parents, Hermy J. and Ethel L. Roberts.

Graveside services for Mrs. Wanda Gay will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Highland Park Cemetery.  Rev. Adam Rush will officiate.  Interment will follow.

Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
