Mr. William James Summers, Jr., age 82, of Melber, KY passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

He was of the Protestant faith, a retired employee of Raymond Chevrolet in Antioch, IL and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Mr. Summers is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jostock Summers; three sons, Ronald Butler of Mundelein, IL, Joseph Summers of Melber, KY and William (Melissa) Summers III of Melber, KY; two daughters, Frances Spivy of Bunnell, FL and Patricia Gladstone of Mundelein, IL; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Butler; one brother, Michael Summers; one sister, Beverly Summers; and his parents, Williams Summers, Sr. and Lila Smooter Summers.

A memorial service for Mr. William James Summers, Jr. will be held at a later date.
